The endless white sand beaches, transparent seawater, pretty islands nearby and rows of palm trees make Ngwe Saung an irresistible attraction for beach lovers. You can swim , surf and relax under palm trees fringing the seaside resort. Off the beach, visitors can explore some nearby small fishing villages and local markets, ride a bike through the spectacular countryside or board a boat to some offshore islands.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Yangon – Pathein - Ngwe Saung Beach
Heading out of town we make our way towards Pathein. The drive is long and bumpy at times but it is still an interesting journey. We pass many sleepy villages, lush plantations and intricate network of canals which are the lifeblood of the Irrawaddy Delta. This vast basin stretches from the Bago Range to the coast of the Bengal Bay and receives year around drainage from several major rivers including the Irrawaddy, Hlaing and Ngawun. We arrive in Ngwe Saung Beach after a five hour drive and spend the time for an well earned rest on beach. O/N at Ngwe Saung Beach.
Day 2 & 3: Ngwe Saung beach
The endless white sand beaches, transparent seawater, pretty islands nearby and rows of palm trees make Ngwe Saung an irresistible attraction for beach lovers. You can soak up the sun and sea as much as you want by spending your time on the turquoise water to enjoy swimming or lazing on a beach on these free days. There are also some possibilities to visit some nearby villages and local markets, explore the countryside by bike or enjoy a boat trip to the magnificent offshore islands. These optional trips are not included , however you are advised to contact the hotel receptionist for information. O/N in Ngwe Saung Beach. (B)
Day 4: Ngwe Saung Beach - Yangon
Today we spend a half day relaxing on a beach until we embark our waiting vehicle for the return journey. A part of the pleasure of travelling in this region is the simple joy of seeing the rice fields and the smiling faces of the people. There are several stops for you to stretch your legs and catch some wonder full pictures. The trip ends after arrival in Yangon. (B
